Melanie graduated from Mesa College and earned her RVT license in 2009. Melanie is a great advocate for patient care and is essential to have on your team during an emergency as her calm demeanor helps put everyone at ease.
Melanie was quite young when she decided to dedicate her life to helping animals. She grew up in a home with many pets and decided that she wanted to build a career based on the love she felt for our four-legged family members.
Melanie's petite stature and gentle demeanor may lead one to underestimate her. In fact, Melanie is an expert marksman in Archery, she rides dirt-bikes, loves the outdoors and can gently restrain a 150 pound dog without the pet even being aware he is restrained!! She is full of surprises and absolutely delightful to work with.
Melanie's one step at a time attitude is such an asset when working in a field where everyone is trying to do everything all at once. We could all learn from her and probably be much happier!
In her spare time, Melanie practices Archery (she is a very good marksman) and likes to ride dirt bikes. She likes to travel but doesn't get much time for that these days.
